Single Assessment Plan and Practice Guidance
Scope of this chapter
The Single Assessment and Plan is a holistic model of assessment; it is consistent with Working Together to Safeguard Children and incorporates the Signs of Safety approach as the mechanism for the assessment of need for children, young people and families. The process supports a common language and understanding across professionals, partner agencies and families. The need to listen to children, young people and families is placed at the heart of every assessment.
